More About Dr. Ford

Dr. Ford is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the American Osteopathic Association. She is Board Certified through the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery.

Dr. Ford served as a staff general surgeon at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, Indiana since 2012, providing inpatient and outpatient care for patients with venous disease. She also previously served as Chief of Surgery with Three Rivers Health in Three Rivers, Michigan.

“As a general surgeon practicing in a community where people had no access to treatment of their varicose veins, I integrated treatment of venous insufficiency into my surgical practice. I became passionate about the treatment of venous disease as I realized how many people were under- diagnosed and under-treated and how rewarding it was to be able to help treat people with vein problems.”

“I enjoy being able to educate and help people improve their quality of life though treatment of venous insufficiency using a simple office-based procedure to do it. People experience relief from the throbbing, heaviness, swelling, among other symptoms that their varicose veins cause, and it also helps them feel better about the appearance of their legs. People are amazed by the ease of the procedure and how quickly they feel relief, after suffering for years and years.”

Dr. Ford simply describes her personal work in the field of venous insufficiency: “I am now devoting my entire practice to the treatment of venous disease.”
