Meet Dr. Nguyen

Khanh Q. Nguyen, DO, RPVI, is native to the Maryland-DC-Virginia area and has lived there for over three decades years. He attended the University of Virginia, where he studied biology and graduated Cum Laude. He obtained his medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri and trained at Botsford Hospital, part of the Michigan State HealthCare System.

Dr. Nguyen has been a vein doctor for close to two decades and is the Corporate Medical Director for Center for Vein Restoration. He has personally performed more than 9,000 venous procedures, trained countless physicians around the country in techniques to resolve symptoms of venous insufficiency, and has been published in several medical and research journals.

Meet Dr. Byrne

Rory C. Byrne, MD, earned his medical degree with honors from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He completed his internship at Queen’s University Hospitals program in Kingston, Ontario, and a residency at McGill University Hospitals. He is certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.

Dr. Byrne first became interested in vein disease care during his work in neonatal medicine, becoming fascinated by the intricacy of tiny veins. Seeing how devastating the symptoms of venous insufficiency were for patients, he decided to dedicate his career to vein care.

Meet Dr. Jump

Alfred Jump, MD, is board certified in Emergency Medicine. He received his medical training at the University of Maryland at College Park, MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia (now Drexel University College of Medicine), and George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed post-graduate training at the University of Maryland Emergency Medicine Residency Program in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Jump pursued vascular medicine after his mother-in-law, who has long suffered from leg pain, swelling, and bulging varicose veins, and was told that there was nothing that could be done about her vein condition. She was restored to health after vein treatment at Center for Vein Restoration:
